About The Series
In April of 1993, Jeff and Liz Romagna started the
Sweet, Sweet, Music Series in their small, family run café. The series featured singer/songwriters and folksingers both traditional and contemporary, singing in a small intimate space where people listened intently to the performer.
Jeff and Liz sold the café in February of 2005 and had come to the realization that the music series would also end. However, Jay and Carolyn Scott of Mukwonago graciously offered their home as a venue for the music series.
After two years and many memorable concerts at the Scott’s house, they arrived at another crossroads. Several people gave ideas and suggestions on where they could continue hosting these concerts. In the end, they found the United Methodist Church of North Prairie. People of all ages can enjoy listening to folksingers and songwriters telling stories through song. Jeff commented, “We are elated that the Sweet, Sweet, Music Series can continue in North Prairie. We have a passion for live music and hope to share it with the community”
